Balancing the challenges of working life with family adventures shouldn’t be a chore. That’s why Fiat has created the Fullback Double Cab.
Rugged muscularity is part of the Fullback Double Cab’s DNA, but Italians know that it’s possible to work hard and look good at the same time. That’s why, alongside its aggressive lines and powerful shoulders, this pick-up has an undeniable elegance in its profile and the attention to detail on its bodywork. Take, for example, the sculpted head and tail lamps, designed to stand out as much at night as they do in the daylight. And the chrome-finished wing mirrors that add a touch of sophistication to the Fullback’s tough demeanour.
Two roof styles are available to meet your specific needs – choose from a hard or folding rear top depending on the goods or tools you need to accommodate.
The Fiat Fullback may be built to tackle the challenges of commercial life, but it takes care of its passengers regardless. The driver-centric cab is designed to ensure your visibility is uncompromised and your attention stays on the road thanks to ergonomic seating and carefully placed controls that are intuitive to use. Opt for the LX trim and you can access this hardworking pick-up’s functions via a touchscreen display. Meanwhile, a four-speaker sound system ensures all your favourite music can be enjoyed as the artists intended.
You can upgrade the sense of luxury in the Fullback Double Cab depending on the trim you choose.
Pulling power is a necessity when you’re carrying cargo, and the Fiat Fullback Double Cab has it in abundance. Two 2.4-litre diesel engines are on offer, one delivering 150hp and the other 180hp. The latter can be mated to an automatic gearbox, although six-speed manual transmission is standard.
Environmental responsibility is important no matter what vehicle you’re driving, and the Fullback has made every effort to reduce emissions and optimise fuel efficiency. Offering 40.9mpg on the combined cycle (manual transmission) and as little as 180g/km of CO2, it’s a model that takes economy seriously.
All versions come with four-wheel drive as standard, so whether you’re heading along the motorway to a job or traversing rough terrain, you can do so with ease. The 4WD Electronic Selector enables you to switch between two-wheel drive traction to reduce fuel consumption and four-wheel drive traction to allow for maximum torque off-road. Whatever life throws your way, the Fullback Double Cab is there to support you.
When choosing a pick-up, you need to know it can handle whatever you throw at it. The Fiat Fullback may be smaller than some of its competitors, but it gives nothing up in terms of practicality. With a payload capacity of 1,045kg and a load bed of 1,400mm square, it’s able to comfortably accommodate a Euro pallet. There are plenty of load lashing points too, to ensure everything remains secure. Should you need to tow a braked trailer, you can load it up to a total weight of 3,100kg, and this energetic pick-up can pull it without breaking a sweat.
As you’d expect, a host of safety features are actively working to keep you protected on the road. These include Electronic Stability Control and Hill Holder, which makes starting from an incline safer. If you’re towing, Trailer Stability Assist assures perfect stability no matter how rough the terrain or how sharp the turns. Opt for the LX trim and you’ll also benefit from Lane Departure Warning System at speeds of over 40mph.
