Motability - The Fiat Automony Mobility Program Rockingham Cars are a Motability Accredited dealer. As participants in the Fiat Autonomy Mobility Program we can offer a comprehensive range of new Fiat cars to Motability customers. Additionally the range of Fiat vans and light commercial vehicles are also suitable for adaptation to carry wheelchairs and their occupants.
Autonomy - How does it work? You can enjoy the motoring benefits of a new Fiat car by utilising the special terms offered through the Motability schemes by Fiat Auto (UK) Limited.
To qualify for a vehicle on the Motability schemes, you must be in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners Mobility Supplement. If for any reason you are unable to drive, you can still participate in the schemes by nominating up to 2 named drivers. This is particularly applicable to children who are in receipt of the Disability Living Allowance, to enable their parents to obtain a car through the schemes. If you are unsure about your ability to drive, there are a number of assessment centres available to help you. Full details are available at the end of this brochure. Contract Hire - What does the Scheme provide?- Full use of the car of your choice for 3 years.
- Full maintenance and vehicle servicing for 3 years.
- Comprehensive Motor Insurance for up to two named drivers including yourself, but you do not have to be one of the drivers.
- 3 years RAC membership including Homestart, Relay and Relay Plus.
- Loss of Use Insurance if the vehicle is off the road for more than seven days.
- Your Fiat dealer can arrange for any adaptations to be fitted if necessary.
The Scheme is based on the following:Providing your annual mileage does not exceed 12,000 miles and the surrender of your Disability Living Allowance will cover your normal monthly lease payments. You will need to surrender all or part of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or War Pensioners Mobility Supplement. Your Fiat Dealer will be able to give you further information.
Your Fiat dealer can arrange for any adaptations to be removed at the end of your contract before the car is returned.
